I knew stephen really good and it was like knew each others thoughts we didn't need to tell each other what we were thinking but I knew that he didn't have long to live so I made sure that when I was with him I spent time with him he used to make Sarah so mad because I wouldn't have any time for her. I remember when I used to stay over night he would keep me up all night asking questions about movies and what car would win in a race a charger or a viper of course would pick the charger. But what hurts me the most is I cant remember what I said to him last. But. What ever it was I hope I said "I LOVE YOU" I love you Stephen I really do.   Close

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

that I see you walk out the door,

so I could play them back day after day.

He Only Took My Hand  / Mom and Dad

Last night while I was sleeping, my son's voice I did hear

I opened my eyes and looked in his room
But Stephen didn't appear

He said:
"Mom you've got to listen,you've got to understand
God didn't take me from you, he only took my hand

When I called out in pain that night, he instantly reached down,
took my hand and pulled me gently to his side,
lifted me up and saved me from all the misery and pain inside.
My body hurt so badly, I could never be the same

My search is really over now
I've found happiness within, all the answers to my empty
dreams and all that might have been

I love and miss you soooo very much, I'll always be near by
My body's gone forever
But my spirit will never die

So you must go on now and live one day at a time
Until we meet again

Just understand:

God didn't take me from you, he only took my hand!!!!
